What's Aupair?

"Aupair" meanings the same as "Au Pair". We just use "Aupair".

Aupair/Au pair is an anglicization of the French term "au pair," which means "on par" or "equal to" and describes a young person living on an equal basis with a host family in a foreign country. The Aupair helps the family with childcare, light housework, or both while staying as a guest of the family and generally receiving a small allowance (or pocket money). An Aupair will be accepted into the host family as an extended family member. Both the family and Aupair are expected to respect cultural differences and display tolerance towards one another. Service charge

There's two small fee for our services, the registration fee and the matching success fee.
You don't have to pay "matching success fee" until the Aupair arrives at your home. It's a very reasonable system.

1. Registration fee / All the members are required..... $55(valid for 1 year)
2. Matching success fee / After the successful match(*1)..... Look at the following. It is different by the period when an Aupair stays

For example: J-1 visa at United State / Aupair visa at Germany / Working Holiday visa at any country that visa is permitted

* over 1 year..... $530

For example: CareGiver visa at Canada / Student visa at any countries

Attention...
"Matching success fee" is required for each match. If you wish to use our service again for changing an Aupair before term of a contract, you will be charged again. Please do not easily give up having good relations with an Aupair. AJ will do the best to help you and your Aupair with any problem during above period.

Steps

3. We will send you a list of Aupairs that meet your requirement
4. Choose a prospective Aupair
5. Prepare for the Aupair's arrival
6. Pay the service charge to us after the Aupair arrives at your home

Terms of Use

• Please read before using Aupair Japan "Important notice", and "Our Service System"
• Only the families who meet our selection standards can register
• Please keep the rules you and your Aupair agreed upon
• Aupairs cannot take care of a child with disabilities. They do not have the specialized qualifications or knowledge to do so
• One Aupair can look after up to four children
• An Aupair can work until longest 45 hours in total in one week
• An Aupair can work until longest 10 hours in one day
• Case more than the time mentioned above, you must pay overtime work charges(extra money) to Aupair(about $10)
• If an Aupair stays for over 4 months, you are required to pay her/his car insurance. Also if the Aupair needs to drive to work, you must pay for her/his traveling expenses
• Please treat an Aupair as a family member, she/he is not a house keeper or a maid

Our selection standard

■ The family members who the Aupair lives with must not have any criminal record

■ Your purpose for having an Aupair must be child care

■ The family must be able to offer the following things to the Aupair

• Space and equipment that are necessary for living
• One private furnished bedroom and bathroom
• Food
• A salary once a week during the Aupair stay at your home
• A day off of 2 days a week (At least 1 and a half day)
• Time off for the Aupair to attend classes
• A paid vacation of ten days in total in a year when she/him stay over a year
